Abstract
► Ni-B/diamond composite films were prepared via conventional electrodeposition. ► They showed extremely high hardness because of high hardness of Ni-B and diamonds. ► The hardness depended on diamond content and diamond size. ► Diamond content was controlled by electrodeposition conditions.
