Abstract
⺠Biocompatible materials with controllable surface topography, porosity, and chemical composition. ⺠Ti materials with roughness 4-80 μm and blind pore volumes (1.0-5.1) Ã 10â 3 mm3. ⺠Surface parameters influence adhesion, spreading, growth, and differentiation of osteoblasts. ⺠Bioactivity of Ti surface is controlled by the surface chemistry and topography. ⺠Metal-ceramic coatings on orthopedic implants with microcontainers for medicine.
