Abstract
⺠Natural hydroxyapatite has been electrophoretically deposited on NiTi substrate. ⺠Effect of the applied voltage on the quality of HA coating on NiTi has been studied. ⺠After sintering, HA is stable on NiTi and it only partially decomposes into TCP. ⺠After immersion in SBF for 7 days, HA coating could induce the apatite formation. ⺠During sintering, diffusion across the interface results in chemical bonding.
