Abstract
⺠Hydroxyapatite/Ti composite coatings were manufactured by argon atmospheric spraying. ⺠The bond strength exceeded the reported values of plasma sprayed coating. ⺠The formation of apatite layer in vitro immersion indicates the good bioactivity. ⺠The results suggest the potential applications under load-bearing conditions.
