Abstract
⺠Protective coatings on the C/C-SiC composites were prepared at room temperature. ⺠The coatings showed excellent oxidation resistance at 400 °C and 700 °C in air. ⺠The coatings exhibited excellent thermal shock resistance in air. ⺠This process could be an in-field repair technology for C/C-SiC brake disks.
