Abstract
⺠TiAlN multilayer was successfully coated on the oxynitriding treated H13 steel. ⺠The duplex surface treatment possesses the highest surface hardness (Hv0.01 = 3463 ± 1.5). ⺠Duplex TiAlN/oxynitriding treatment has the lowest wear volume (0.047 mm3). ⺠TiAlN-O-H13 specimen shows the optimal anti-erosion ability in liquid A390 aluminum alloy. ⺠TiAlN-O-H13 specimen shows the best corrosion resistance in NaCl and HCl solutions.
