Abstract
⺠With using water-based polyamidoamine curing agent, the hydrolysis reaction increased and accordingly the formation of nanosiloxane domains between coating and metal surface enhanced. ⺠The good distribution of nanosilanes in the curing agent and film coating caused its performances (the adhesion and anticorrosion properties) to improve significantly. ⺠Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy tests confirm the low level of porosity and defects in the modified coating.
