Abstract
⺠Resistance to wear of coatings by PEO of various thicknesses was studied by a pin on disc machine. ⺠The changes of the friction coefficient as a function of distance were recorded. ⺠100 μm thick coatings were able to resist wear when submitted to less of less than 30 N. ⺠Wear on alumina balls by debris is documented.
