Abstract
⺠Ni-P with Fulleren like WS2 show high potential for low friction applications. ⺠The electrodeposited coating gave friction that fell below 0.05 in dry conditions. ⺠This new electrodeposited coating can compete with commercial PVD coatings. ⺠WS2 with the basal planes parallel to the surface could be found in the wear track. ⺠Graphit-iC and BalinitC need humidity to give low friction Ni-P + IF-WS2 does not.
