Abstract
⺠New glass-like CexOy coatings for active corrosion protection of Al and Mg alloys. ⺠Scale up of sols and deposition by automated spray completed with organic paints. ⺠Suitable protection of complete system confirmed by standard corrosion tests. ⺠Eco-friendly CexOy coatings are promising candidates to replace chromium coatings.
