Abstract
⺠We characterized the cBN composite coating with different complementary tools. ⺠The coating is well adherent, even, and with cBN particles evenly distributed in its matrix. ⺠The coating was tested for continuous turning of hardened and pre-hardened steels. ⺠The coating outperformed its industrial counterpart tools in the respective applications.
