Abstract
⺠One kind of near α Ti alloy has been treated with high current pulsed electron beam technique. ⺠The melted layer and solid state transformation layer of treated samples contained α' martensite. ⺠The cooling rate was estimated from the size of the prior-β grains. ⺠Microhardness and corrosion properties of treated samples have been characterized.
