Abstract
⺠A β-NiAl coating was developed on γ-TiAl using EPD and HP. ⺠The coating was well diffusion bonded to the substrate. ⺠The coating formed an alumina scale during oxidation in air at 900 °C. ⺠Adherent scale formed when the coating was dispersed with Y2O3 nanoparticles. ⺠Degradation of the coating during HP and oxidation is not significant.
