Abstract
⺠Nanostructured SiC coating on the carbon fibers were fabricated by reaction sintering with milled Si and C powder. ⺠Oxidation property of carbon fibers with coating has been compared with that of as-received carbon fibers. ⺠Effect of fabrication process on the oxidation resistance of the coated fibers has been studied.
