Abstract
⺠Uniform distribution of partially melted WC in Ti-6Al-4V/WC clad is achieved at 111.10 J.mmâ2 and 633.3 mg.sâ1. ⺠Clad width is inversely dependent on energy density. ⺠β-Ti, TiC and re-crystallised W enhance hardness. ⺠Partially melted WC particles improve wear resistance.
