Abstract
⺠Bimetallic H13 tool steel coating on copper alloys by direct metal deposition. ⺠Use of 316 stainless steel as buffer layer in bimetallic structures. ⺠Thermal fatigue testing by HF induction heating and cooling. ⺠Thermal fatigue studies in terms of microstructure and crack geometry. ⺠Applicable as highly conductive tooling material for high pressure die casting.
