Abstract
⺠First study to examine both (Ti,Cr)N coating erosion and corrosion performances. ⺠TiN and CrN phase volumes, hardness, microstructure, and substrate biasing were investigated. ⺠Increased Cr led to a greater CrN phase volume and decreased erosion performance. ⺠Coatings deposited at lower bias had decreased corrosion resistance.
