Abstract
âºPost-oxidation treatment produced a dense, adherent oxide film on the compound layer. âºHowever, this oxide film spalled off, failed to improve the oxidation resistance. âºSurface deteriorated severely before there was any thermal fatigue cracking. âºConsiderable loss of mechanical strength occurred due to thermal exposure.
