Abstract
⺠Nozzle cross-section shape affects gas flow and particle velocity in cold spraying. ⺠Width/Length ratio of nozzle cross-section influences particle acceleration. ⺠Elliptical nozzles yields slightly higher impact velocity than rectangular nozzles. ⺠Releasing particles form nozzle inlet leads to high impact velocity and temperature.
