Abstract
⺠Nitrogen shrouded plasma spraying is introduced for bulk metallic glass (BMG) coatings. ⺠This minimizes the oxidation and crystallization, and thus increases amorphous fraction of the coating. ⺠Corrosion resistance of the BMG coating is noticeably enhanced.
