Abstract
⺠Fe/Co multilayers were e-beam evaporated onto glass and Si substrates at 200 °C. ⺠The elemental layer thickness was changed. On glass, large in-plane anisotropy ⺠Onto Si, perpendicular anisotropy because of a large intermixing ⺠The perpendicular anisotropy is due to the absence of a pure Co layer. ⺠The type of in-plane anisotropy is controlled by the Fe/Co thickness ratio.
