Abstract
⺠Bonding quality degraded with decreasing Al thickness. ⺠Apparent friction coefficient was dependent on Al thickness. ⺠Longitudinal distance to the breaking point increased with increasing Al thickness. ⺠Breaking distance could be used as a parameter to qualify bonding pad robustness.
