Abstract
⺠X-ray reflectometry measurements made on Langmuir-Blodgett films of calix-8-arene ⺠Simulations of the reflectivity profile made for three structural models ⺠Pinched loop conformation of calix-8-arene produced correct thickness and spacing ⺠Calculated and experimental profiles in excellent agreement for pinched loop ⺠Profile incompatible with “bowl and chain” and pleated loop conformations.
