Abstract
An equation system of the field theory of defects, which is closed by a constitutive relation for viscoelastic media, is used to study mechanisms of propagation of plane waves of a defect field across the interface. We specify boundary conditions for determining defect field parameters at the interface, which allows obtaining relations for reflection and refraction coefficients and for the wave phase shift at the interface.
