Abstract
⺠We model the activation of carbon deposit under the influence of hydrogen. ⺠We examine formation of carbon “in statu nascendi” on samples from carbon deposit. ⺠We proved a range of NH3 addition, limited primary austenite growth in a vacuum carburizing.
