Abstract
⺠Effects of PN temperature and time on surface properties of Ti 6Al 4V investigated. ⺠PN applied at 700-850 °C for 2-10 h, structural and tribological quality characterised. ⺠Compound layer (TiN + Ti2N), an aluminium-rich and α-diffusion regions were detected. ⺠Hardness, loadability and wear resistance improved, roughness and friction increased. ⺠Rising T&t gain thickness, hardness, roughness, friction, loadability, wear resistance.
