Abstract
⺠The antibacterial properties of CuCrO2 film surfaces against Escherichia coli were investigated. ⺠Delafossite type CuCrO2 thin films were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering. ⺠The CuCrO2 surface exhibiting superior antibacterial performance. ⺠CuCrO2 shows an optical transparency of >70% in the visible region. ⺠A novel transparent antibacterial coating has been demonstrated in present study.
