A hybrid system benefit from the chemistry of cyclodextrin, polyacrylamide and halloysite nanoclay was synthesized and used for the immobilization of Pd(0) nanoparticles and formation of a heterogeneous and reusable catalyst, Pd@Hal-P-CD, for promoting ligand and copper-free Sonogashira coupling reaction in aqueous media (1,1 mixture of water and ethanol).123
