Abstract
The paper discusses an experimental-computational approach and related original methods of studying and determining strain and strength characteristics of materials and structural components under active static and dynamic loading with regard to the inhomogeneous stress-strain state. The main test conditions considered are tension, compression, torsion, kinetic penetration and explosive loading.
