Abstract
In this paper, we prove a compactness theorem for a critical Sobolev embedding involving the biharmonic operator with a singular potential. Then, using the compactness theorem and the Mountain Pass Theorem, we obtain the existence of nontrivial solutions for a class of biharmonic equations with critical growth and a singular potential in RN.
