Abstract
Development of new types of rocket engines, as well as upgrading the existing engines needs computer aided design and mathematical tools for supercomputer modeling of all basic processes of mixing, ignition, combustion and outflow through the nozzle. Even small upgrades and changes introduced in existing rocket engines without proper simulations cause severe accidents at launch places witnessed recently. The paper presents the results of computer code developing, verification and validation, making it possible to simulate unsteady processes of ignition and combustion in rocket engines.
