Abstract
▸ We introduced the inversion method of seabed sediment classification based on Biot and sub-bottom profile data. ▸ Application of the inversion method on the continental slope of northern South China Sea. ▸ The inversion method is only feasible for soft seabed and Gardner is just suitable for petrous seabed sediments.
