Abstract
⸠Experimental measurements are reported for an axisymmetric wave energy converter float subjected to regular and near-focused waves. ⸠The mechanical system, incident wave conditions and response in a 2D vertical plane are detailed. ⸠Supplementary files are included to facilitate comparison to numerical simulations. ⸠For particular regular wave conditions, linear responses are reported. ⸠More complex multi-mode motions are observed in large amplitude, near-focused wave groups.
