Abstract
▸ An effective numerical model is developed to study the hydrodynamic behavior of a box-shaped net cage in pure waves and current. ▸ Hydrodynamic behaviors of a box-shaped net cage are simulated by the numerical model and physical model tests. ▸ A comparison between two kinds of cage shape which are box and column shape net cages is performed to offer data for the selection of cage shape.
