Abstract
Passive flow control is used as a powerful tool to solve the problem. In this work, wind tunnel experimental research was performed to test different passive flow control devices by means of Particle Image Velocimetry measurements. A comparative study was carried out to analyse the effectiveness of different configurations. Relevant results were obtained for the Columnar Vortex Generator configurations, which can be applied in the near future to the full-scale problem, reducing the risk of accident and the pilot's workload.
