Abstract
⺠A risk assessment system is developed for wave run-up height and armor stability of inclined coastal structures. ⺠The change of probability of failure due to long-term sea level rise is calculated. ⺠Effects of size of armor units, and slope and freeboard of the structures are examined. ⺠Effect of sea level rise is negligible outside the surf zone. ⺠Effect of sea level rise increases with decreasing water depth inside the surf zone.
