Abstract
► A risk assessment system is developed for wave run-up height and armor stability of inclined coastal structures. ► The change of probability of failure due to long-term sea level rise is calculated. ► Effects of size of armor units, and slope and freeboard of the structures are examined. ► Effect of sea level rise is negligible outside the surf zone. ► Effect of sea level rise increases with decreasing water depth inside the surf zone.
