Abstract
The expanded Morison equation is presented to calculate hydrodynamic pressure included by inner and outer water simultaneously, and the numerical model for hollow pier water interaction is built. The inner water added mass approximates to the mass of inner water, comparative study shows it agrees with another two methods well. It is an approximate, efficient and convenient way to estimate hydrodynamic pressure acted on hollow piers.
