Abstract
⺠We investigated the fluid-structure-foundation interaction of thick Mindlin plates. ⺠A mixed-type finite element formulation is used for the plate-Pasternak foundation. ⺠A boundary element method is used for obtaining the fluid effects. ⺠The natural frequencies and mode shapes are presented for plate structures.
