Abstract
⺠Drag coefficients were greatly influenced by the anchors' acceleration. ⺠Mathematical model were used to calculate the falling velocity of the torpedo anchors. ⺠Geometry of the anchors remarkably affected the velocities during acceleration. ⺠Measured CDs were in a reasonable range of data found in the literature.
