Abstract
Monte Carlo calculations of a neutron multiplication factor and nuclear fuel burnup as a function of burnup time are performed for four different space configurations of a sub-critical YALINA-Thermal Benchmark facility driven by external neutron source. The considered fuel consists of different number of rods of uranium in the form of EK-10 fuel and thorium mixed with depleted of PWR fuel after GANEX reprocessing. Examined is also transuranics and minor actinides evolution, as well as rare earth elements accumulation in all four space configurations of fuel rods after 560 days of irradiation. For modeling the MCNPX2.6.0 code has been used.
