Abstract
⺠We observe the behavior of single bubbles in a narrow vertical rectangular channel. ⺠We analyze the force characteristics of the single bubble. ⺠Small bubbles in highly subcooled boiling region stick on the wall or slip slowly. ⺠The bubbles jumping from the wall are affected by drag force. ⺠The thermophoretic force makes bubbles jump from the wall strongly.
