Abstract
⺠The effect of particle-type burnable poisons in long-life prismatic HTGR was analyzed in detail. ⺠Different burnable poison particles can be combined to minimize excess reactivity during the core life. ⺠The use of burnable poison particles increases the passive safety features of prismatic HTGRs.
