Abstract
⺠We study sodium flow and temperature development in fuel pin bundles. ⺠Pin diameter, number of pins, wire wrap and ligament gap are varied as parameters. ⺠Flow development is achieved within â¼30-40 hydraulic diameters. ⺠Thermal development is attained only for small pin diameter and less number of pins. ⺠Wire wrap and ligament gap strongly influence Nusselt number.
