Abstract
⺠Optimum loading scheme for BAEC TRIGA core is out-to-in loading with 10 fuels/cycle starting with 5 for the first reload. ⺠The discharge burnup ranges from 17% to 24% of U235 per fuel element for full power (3 MW) operation. ⺠Optimum extension of operating core life is 100 MWD per reload cycle.
