Abstract
This paper examines the crack growth history of a range of test specimens, and cracks repaired with a composite patch, and shows that in the low to mid range ΔK region there is a near linear relationship between the log of the crack length and the number of cycles. A simple methodology for predicting crack growth is then presented and validated by comparison with a range of experimental studies.
