Abstract
⺠Airborne gamma ray data used to study properties of soils across Northern Ireland. ⺠Areas of high attenuation map increased soil moisture. âºÂ Organic soils provide highest attenuation. ⺠Peat can be mapped and intra-peat variations are observed. ⺠Postulate that thin cover and enhanced water-content is mapped.
