Abstract
With increasing water content, the amount of water on the mica surface becomes higher and the interface layer thicker. More water accumulated at the interface with the hydrophobic ionic liquid [Emim][TFSI] than in case of the hydrophilic ionic liquid [Emim][BF4] due to the respective hydrophobicity and ion size of ionic liquids.238
