Abstract
⺠A 0.8 MWth CFBC had been retrofitted for oxy-fuel CFB combustion research. ⺠Continuous tests (â¼96 h) had been carried out proving the system reliability. ⺠CO2 concentration reached 85-90% during the entire oxy-fuel firing period. ⺠Transition from air firing mode to oxy-fuel firing mode was fast and smooth. ⺠The facility is ready to be used in the development of oxy-fuel CFBC technology.
