Abstract
►Gas and dolomite outburst took place in copper mine.►Porosity of outburst mass was examined and it was compared with the porosity of surrounding sidewalls.►Porosity varies on the level of macropores which are present in the outburst mass only.►Residual gas pressure and minimal gas volume in the rock mass before the outburst were estimated.►We conclude that gas and dolomite outburst occurred near the “gas pocket”.
