Abstract
⺠Life cycle carbon footprint (CF) of various food products was compared. ⺠Food items include beef, pork, chicken, rice and potatoes. ⺠The compiled CF results were discussed for the prospects of carbon labelling. ⺠A standardized LCA is recommended to provide information for carbon labels. ⺠A survey in Singapore showed 76% positive response for having carbon labels.
